The Treillis, one of my dream bags is part of the Monogramouflage line that was produced through the collaboration of Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami. All I can say is that I love it even though I haven’t seen it in real life. I usually don’t like camouflage prints and I would never dare to wear a camo top or pants.. very tacky! But the Treillis is an exception. It’s the first time I loved and dreamed of having a camo thingy. Love it or hate it, it’s still gives off this military chic aura that only comes from Louis Vuitton.

The Treillis is made from the supple Monogramouflage canvas. It comes with a metal military identity plate or dogtag stamped Limited Edition which follows the bags theme of camo chic. The strips of vachetta at the bag’s straps makes it more attractive and very fierce. Here’s a little trivia for you; did you know that Treillis is french for Lattice which is “a structure of crossed strips arranged to form a regular pattern of open spaces.” I don’t know how the name connects with the bag but here’s my assumption: Maybe, the bag is the structure which is made of crossed strips of vachetta which is arranged to form a regular pattern of open spaces.
