What do you get if you mix a leopard, Stephen Sprouse and Louis Vuitton, then add a dash of salt and pepper to taste? Of course, a Leopard Stole with Louis Vuitton Graffiti! Spring/Summer 2001 was the season when the Graffiti bags we’re released through the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and American artist Stephen Sprouse. At that time, I was only 10 years old thinking about toys and boogers but now, I’m old enough (?) to appreciate the creativeness of the line.
So bags aside, the Leopard Stole is very sexy and sophisticated but with a tinge of urban chic. It features the directional leopard print and graffiti signature created for Louis Vuitton by Stephen Sprouse. I’ve never been a fan of stoles and shawls coz it’s really not wise to use them here in the Philippines. It’s so hot and stoles can’t help, but for collections’ sake, I’d probably get one. And I think I can pull it off!
Anyway, this stole is made from 70% cashmere, 30% silk. It comes in three colors; Brown, Anthracite and Violet. Each measures 78.6″ x 51.1″. Available at Louis Vuitton for $725.
