I know that you know that I’m so obsessed with the Monogramouflage Treillis but I still can’t buy it because of some reasons I don’t want to discuss. Nyahaha. ‘Nyway, I still remember that day, June 1 to be exact. It was the release of the Monogramouflage, the newest variation of the Monogram canvas created by Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami for Louis Vuitton. When I first saw the bags, I was like going to puke. Honestly, I thought it was really crappy coz I totally hate camouflage print. I’d rather wear yellow polka dots than carry a camo bag. But now, I take back all things that i’ve said. I LOVE MONOGRAMOUFLAGE!! I love it even up to the point that I’m searching eBay every hour to check out the Monogramouflage Mouse Pad. But with no luck, I can’t afford it. Nah.
Boozle kaboozle, the Monogramouflage Lys is a bag worth the note. This slight variation in the Monogram Denim canvas fully envelopes the essence of practicality and generous form. I just love how the red patent leather accents go perfectly with the whole though chic look, really ingenious! For those who are wondering, the Lys is just like any other Monogram Denim bag, it’s just that it has the Mono’flage print.
The Lys can be carried on the shoulder with it’s unique two-strap shoulder strap in green jute canvas. One thing that’s special with this bag and the other Mono’flages is that they come with an identity plate in red patent leather stamped LIMITED EDITION. Limited edition in your face!! The Lys measures 7.5″ x 11.4″ x 17.7″ and is available at Louis Vuitton for $2,160. *ouch, blame the price increase*
