This best-selling bag from Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram line absolutely deserves all praise. With its everlasting elegance, the Manhattan-a reinterpretation of Marc Jacobs’ Venetia bag from his own label-combines Marc’s urban and feminine style with the classic Louis Vuitton signature, the Monogram pattern. Manhattan takes its name from New York’s world famous district, which is a major commercial, financial, and cultural center of the United States.
Manhattan is fashioned in Monogram canvas with natural cowhide leather trimmings, straps and handles with distinctive chunky golden brass hardware to complete the urban chic look. It features two external gusseted pockets with “koala” push-lock closures. This hand held bag comes in two sizes PM (11″ x 8.3″ x 5.5″) and GM (14.9″ x 10.2″ x 5.5″) which differs slightly in design. They’re available at Louis Vuitton for $1,680 and $2,180 for PM and GM respectively.
