The Traveller is part of the Travel Shopper line from the Cruise 2009 collection by Marc Jacobs. This oversized cotton canvas tote is the ultimate 24 hour bag that can easily go from city to sand and sea soirees. I’ve always been very interested with this bag since I saw it in the photos from the Cruise 2009 preview. Its big and roomy and I’m wondering if a guy could rock it out. I just wish I could see this in person and maybe try it out but being far far away from the only store in the country, I think I’ll just pass (for now).
The Traveller has a graphic design that was inspired by the old Louis Vuitton logo used back in the 1920’s which shows the addresses of stores that were open at that time; 101 Champs- Élysées in Paris, 2 Avenue de Suede in Nice, 22 De La Croisette in Cannes, 7-6-1 Ginza in Tokyo, 18 New Bond Street in London and 57th Street in New York. The bag is made from cotton canvas and has monogrammed cotton lining with calf leather as its trimmings. The inside is very spacious and it has two internal flat pockets and a phone pocket for easy organization. Traveller has a safe golden brass zip closure and padlock with a removable leather key bell hanging on the side. The bag can be confortably carried on the shoulder thanks to its long leather straps.
Travel Shopper Traveller measures 20.4″ x 14.1″ x 8.6″, available at Louis Vuitton for $2,420.
