Here’s a quote from the Retrospective Stephen Sprouse and Marc Jacobs section in We Love Sprouse. “For six months, Sprouse and Jacobs worked together in Paris for Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2001 collection. Every day, they would do sketches and share ideas. In the end, the greatest challenge was when it came time to edit; together they had created so many designs they both loved.

The collection was a triumph. The fashion show launching it was a seminal moment – the first time Louis Vuitton’s historic Monogram had become a canvas for creative expression, and the start of a series of celebrated collaborations with contemporary artists. Weeks later the graffiti bags – sold out of Louis Vuitton stores worldwide – were already cult collector’s items.”

  4. Behonce says:

Did these bags ever got remade? or was it a one off thing, not including the recent ones?
