Louis Vuitton Monogram Collage Lutèce
I've been very interested with the Monogram Collage Lutèce since it exited the runway of Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2008 show. And I even got more excited after the news that it's going to be released this season. And now, it's here!Lutèce is named after Lutetia Parisiorum, the ancient Roman city where Paris now stands. And with it's exotic materials, Lutèce is definitely a key collector's bag this season. Lutèce is crafted from sheepskin leather, lambskin lining and handcrafted collage lettering made from different materials and finishings such as resin, brass, python and more. The bag also has karung snake and polyester trimmings. with and engraved vintage Louis Vuitton silver lock and a fine python strap to carry on the shoulder or by hand.
With all those rare, lavish, and exotic materials, there's no wonder that Lutèce is very expensive. This 15.5" x 9" x 1.4" bag is made upon request and costs $9,750 with 50% down payment. Louis Vuitton stores are now starting to receive orders for this bag so if you're interested, be sure to have $4,875 in hand.

Making of Laetitia Casta's Ad Campaign for Louis Vuitton
You may remember the set of photos I've posted months ago about Louis Vuitton's Lifestyle Ad Campaign starring Laetitia Casta. I always wondered what this ad is all about. I saw it at Vuitton's Japanese website and the katakana roughly translates to Lifestyle Ad Campaign, and I've got no other infos as of now but before you turn your back and leave, check out these behind-the-scenes photos from the campaign's shoot which was photographed by Vincent Peters and not Annie Leibovitz (my idol) as what others have reported.

Amica Italia October 2008: 'Masterpiece' & 'Avanguardia'
I love looking at editorials before I go to sleep. It makes me dream of something, it makes me inspired. But when I see a Vuitton, you'll be able see it too! So here's a snap from Masterpiece, an editorial from Amica Italia's October 2008 issue photographed by Stefano Moro which features looks that are regarded as modern day fashion masterpieces and of course, Louis Vuitton has it's representative:

Elle Italy November 2008: LA Woman
It's only a few days 'till the release of Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2009 collection on the first week of November and I've luckily found an editorial that features the upcoming Travel Shopper bags (bag in this matter). This photo is from an ed called 'LA Woman' from Elle Italy's November 2008 issue starring Shelby Keeton, photographed by Michael Evanet.
Shelby's carrying the Travel Shopper Rider, but I'm unsure whether it's in Orange or Fuschia coz obviously, the photo is in grayscale. But whatever, the bag still looks really good and the size is just what I've expected. But I personally prefer the GM more, I do hope a guy could rock it. Tush tush!

Ashley Tisdale's Louis Vuitton Sac Chien
Spotted! Ashley Tisdale with her adorable little pooch Maui returns from Rome and arrived at Los Angeles International Airport carrying a Louis Vuitton Monogram Sac Chien (dog carrier) yesterday, Monday night. Ashley's been in Rome, Italy for the premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year which by the way was really awesome! I watched the movie yesterday and I laughed, cried, sang and danced (in my imagination)... it's so worth it! There are some awkward moments but it's all part of the HSM experience. I love the three new characters especially Jimmie "The Rocketman" Zara, he's so wacky and funny, lolz. No spoilers here! :p
If you haven't watched it, watcha waiting for?! Run to your theaters and scream like there's no tomorrow! Haha.. Just kidding...
P.S. I also bought the OST and I absolutely adore the songs. My current obsession is 'I Just Wanna Be With You (Reprise Version)' by Sharpay, Jimmie, Troy and Gabriella. It's the song from my favorite scene in the film! :x

Louis Vuitton Damier Lune Sport Bag
This bag has been in my 'Most Wanted' list for so long now and it's just now that I've decided to feature it here in I LVOE LV. This is the Damier Lune Sport Bag from Louis Vuitton Men's Spring/Summer 2008 collection. This sports bag isn't just handy but it's also very stylish coz it's made from Damier Lune canvas, a reinterpretation of Vuitton's iconic checkerboard pattern. Its moderately-sized which measures 2cm smaller than the Keepall 50, it can be used as a sports bag (as what it's name suggests), or a fashionable weekender.
Damier Lune Sport Bag features a cotton lining, brown leather and ivory suede leather trimmings, two internal patch pockets, an internal metal plate with the Louis Vuitton signature, leather base with studs for surface protection, a padlock and a removable leather ID label. The bag can be hand-held or carried on the shoulder or across the body thanks to the removable and adjustable strap that is wide at the shoulder for added comfort. If only this would still be available when I'd have money, I'd buy two! :p
Damier Lune Sport Bag measures 19.8" x 11.4" x 9.4", and is available at Louis Vuitton for £1120 or approx. $1,775.

Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2009 Show: Soundtrack
Its been few weeks now after Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2009 collection debuted in Paris but the songs from the show is still ringing in my ears. Louis Vuitton's SS09 soundtrack featured songs by Édith Piaf, a legendary French singer and a cultural icon who "is almost universally regarded as France's greatest popular singer." I tried looking for other songs but this one struck me the most, it's called C'est un Homme Terrible (It is a Terrible Man) which was used as the opening for the show. Check it out!

Vogue Latin America October 2008: El Gran Encuentro
Accessory alert! Tons of Louis Vuitton accessories are spotted (by me), at Vogue Latin America October 2008 issue called El Gran Encuentro (The Great Meeting) photographed by David Sims featuring supermodel Gisele Bündchen. Congrats to those who saw it but to those who didn't, here's a treat for you guys... It's another scan from an another editorial in V #55 called Stop, Look, and Listen photographed by Andreas Larsson and styled by Jay Massacret. Aww, check out the hat... it's all crumpled up.
I wonder if magazines are allowed to crumple things up. I mean, look at the state of that hat! It looks like a chocolate shaving that's melted in the model's head. But I think it would go back to it's normal shape coz it's made of leather but nonetheless, this photo is fierce. I love the angles, and the structured pants are amazing.

Louis Vuitton Istanbul Pump
One of the highlights of Spring/Summer 2008 show apart from the clothes and the bags were the shoes, they were amazing! And from this collection comes the Istanbul Pump which is obviously named after the city of Istanbul in Turkey. If this shoe won't get your attention, you must be either blind or have a heart of stone but I know you're neither of the two so carry on!I've seen Marc Jacobs' interview once and he said that the shoes were the result of collaging, mixing and matching different ideas and put them all in one shoe. And the outcome was to die for! Istanbul pumps are like ordinary pointed toe pumps upgraded with a patchwork montage on the vamp with multifaceted rhinestone embellishments, dangling beads, patent leather band, and pave crystals and made it cohesive with all other items from the collection. The pump itself was crafted from smooth grained leather with padded insole and leather sole with rubber heel pad. It has a 4.5-inch leather-covered stiletto heel adding height to this eccentric beauty.
Istanbul Pump comes in three colors; Rose, Yellow, and Black and are available at Louis Vuitton for $1,440.

Louis Vuitton Leathergoods Collection 2008
I love Louis Vuitton catalogs and I really dream of collecting them and thanks to Francis from In LVoe with Louis Vuitton, I got my first ever piece of LV catalog. It's the Le Catalogue Maroquinerie 2007 with 231 pages of pure luxury. And now, I'm stalking seasonal catalogs especially from my favorite Vuitton season of all time, Spring/Summer 2008. I hope I could get a copy!Anyways, I also have this e-catalog that was posted in the Louis Vuitton website few months ago and it's only now that I've remembered about this stuff so without further ado, here's the Louis Vuitton Leathergoods Collection 2008 which features the House's iconic pieces as well as new items released this year.
