Louis Vuitton Evasion Sunglasses

I've been waiting for this sunnies to show up at Louis Vuitton's website and now, it did! Evasion is an innovative and practical pair of sunglasses as it is made from lightweight titanium and can easily be folded and slipped into a pocket. The hinges for folding are found in the middle of the nose bridge part, sides of the frame and in the middle of the arms. Evasion's nosepads are adjustable to more comfort and features a Damier pattern engraved on each arm. The nylon lenses has 100% UV protection, perfectly safe from harmful rays. Evasion is available at Louis Vuitton for approximately $1000.

Louis Vuitton Mango Sandal Collection

Mango Thong and Sandal in Patent Calf Leather. Bleu Galactic, Rose Pop.

Louis Vuitton's Mango Sandal collection which consists of a sandal and a flat thong is part of the House's Spring/Summer 2009 line. These sandals features a unique hand-finish opanca construction that wraps the sole up the sides and back for a rich, hand-worked, gladiatorial look. They also have brightly colored patent leather straps and padded insock that are exceptionally eye-catching, wearable from the city straight to the beach.

Both sandal and thong comes in two colors; Bleu Galactic and Rose Pop, which is also 2 of the newest colors in the Monogram Vernis collection. Mango Sandal and Mango Thong are available at Louis Vuitton for approximately $735 and $695 respectively.

Louis Vuitton Epi Eugénie Wallet

The Eugénie in Epi Leather is an impeccably attractive wallet that is stylishly handy and is named after Eugénie, Empress of the French who inaugurated the Suez Canal with her husband, Napoléon III in 1869 and exclusively called upon Louis Vuitton to create trunks for her travels. There's no doubt that she's a classy woman.

The Eugénie Wallet is made from the sturdy Epi leather with fine topstitching. The wallet looks similar to the Beverly bags as it was what it was inspired from. It features a unique clasp design made from polished silvery brass with the Louis Vuitton signature engraving. Eugénie can accomodate twelve credit cards, has two patch pockets at the back and at the front, a transparent ID pocket and an exterior gusseted pocket with a zipper closure. It measures 7.5" x 4.1" x 0.5", a perfect size for hand carrying and/or inside a handbag.

Vogue Paris Dec. 08/Jan. 09: Pulsions 80

Pulsions 80 (80's Impulses) is an editorial from Vogue Paris' December 2008/January 2009 issue starring Suvi Koponen and photographed by Max Fagaro features jackets from Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2009 collection that gives off an air of 80's rock'n'roll chic.


New Wave Revival. The hair is fully embossed laterally to form a long wick on the front. Often seen from photos of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin in the 80's. Suvi is wearing Louis Vuitton Suede and Python Trim Jacket.


Fan of the Eighties. The pony-tail is very tight at the base and foamed at the end, forming a sort of triangle. The jacket is very 80's with its geometric silhouette. Suvi is wearing Louis Vuitton Jacket and Hair Accessory.

First Look: Louis Vuitton Monogram Neon Graffiti

The Monogram Graffiti collection was released last 2001 as the result of the collaboration between Marc Jacobs and designer/artist Stephen Sprouse. The pieces were so hot, it was immediately sold out.

And now, seven years later, the Graffitis will be reissued as a homage to the late Stephen Sprouse and as part of Dietch Gallery's exhibition of Sprouse's work this coming January. This time, the Graffiti reissues will be in neon that literally glows in the dark!


Neon Graffiti would come in pret-a-porter, hard-sided cases, Keepall, Speedy, Neverfull and more. I'm so excited with this collection! It's my first time to experience the "Graffiti fever" coz I was only 11 when these we're first released. I bet they'd sell like hotcakes! More info soon!

Louis Vuitton Holiday 2008 Window Display

Louis Vuitton's window displays are always crazy and absolutely breathtaking. After the Big Brother-esque theme comes the Holiday display which features crystal balls hanging everywhere with Louis Vuitton items floating along. I really find it cute and bubbly!

Louis Vuitton Lipstick Pump in Calf Leather

The most interesting part of Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2008-09 show (apart from the hats, the clothes and the bags) is probably the towering platform wedge pumps that looks really deadly. And one of these block-like foot accessory is the Lipstick Pump that was one of the Fall 2008 collection's main runway look.

Lipstick Pump features a platform that forms a wedge, then sliced to form a heel. Its most recognizable detail is its wings that sprouts from the pump's sides and out and about showing an intricate design and silhouette reminiscent of the prêt-à-porter collection. The shoe is crafted entirely from Calf leather with the outsole made from leather. Lipstick Pump may look intimidating with its towering height but actually, it's only 16 cm or 6.29 in high (the platform measures 6 cm or 2.36 in). Its available at Louis Vuitton for approximately $1,300.

Louis Vuitton Icare

Luggage is very important to those who are frequent travelers and having a compact carry-on bag is a must. Presenting the Louis Vuitton Icare, a bag that is suitable just as much for traveling as for the daily professional. It was created by Louis Vuitton in honor of his father and named with reference to Icarus, a character in Greek mythology who is the son of Daedalus and is commonly known for his attempt to escape Crete by flight, which ended in a fall to his death.

Icare is absolutely ideal for traveling, it can be easily attached to the Pégase and Eole components of the Louis Vuitton luggage collection thanks to the wide harness at the back of the bag. Icare features two internal wide compartments and an external zippered pocket securely closed with double zippered closure. The bag can be hand held or carried on the shoulder or across the body thanks to its adjustable shoulder strap.

Louis Vuitton Icare measures 5.9" x 11.4" x 15.5", and comes in Monogram and Damier Canvas. Its available at Louis Vuitton for $1,530.

Louis Vuiton Cruise 2009 Girls: Eve and Cathy

This day is probably my most exciting ever (in terms of checking my mail). I received an info 'bout Madonna's Spring/Summer 2009 Ad and a pic which turned out to be photoshopped. Then some cute comments, and some more news. But the funnest mail I've opened is from Eve. She's a frequent reader and just got herself the Monogram Scuba Tote and Clutch both in Fuchsia, looks great on her, no?!


But that's not all, Eve's also bought the Surya XL and gave me a pic with her sister Cathy modeling it. Check her out after the jump...


Cathy totally rocked it! Surya definitely went well with her outfit. Nice styling btw!

Eve is kinda doubtful with her Surya XL coz she thinks that its lot of money for a bag that's made from patent leather. My advice is that it really depends if you like the bag or not. If you love it, and totally looks great on you, then keep it. But if there's no love, let the Surya go... But I think Eve loves her Surya XL, so keep up and keep rockin'!

Madonna at Gucci's Tatoo Heart Collection Launch

Spotted! Madonna rocking the green ostrich feather dress from Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2009 collection as she attended the dinner to celebrate Gucci’s launch of the Tattoo Heart Collection at New York City’s Plaza Hotel on Wednesday, November 19.

So, she's starting to wear Vuitton in public events, looks like Madonna's had a good time shooting the LV's upcoming ad campaign. Watcha think of her outfit? Yay or nay?

Fake Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2009 Ad Campaign

Here's the first photo of Madonna for Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2009 Ad Campaign. I am so disappointed. I can't comment as of now. I'm trying to digest this stuff.

Sorry of the wrong info, it seems that this photo from Vuitton's Spring Ad is fake. It's photoshopped using Steven Meisel's editorial in US Vogue's September 2007 issue called Paris, Je T'aime that was also shot at Cafe Figaro. I'm just so relieved! Take a closer look at her shoe, it's Chanel and not Louis Vuitton.

Heya! So I've been blogging about Louis Vuitton for 6 months now and I can't believe it! It's been 6 months but it felt like yesterday. I still remember writing my first post for I LVOE LV! Louis Vuitton Omotesando: Men's Spring 2009 Pre-Collection

Great news everyone! After months of renovation, Louis Vuitton's Omotesando flagship store in Tokyo will be reopened this November 23, 2008. The new space would feature an interior space inspired by the Vuitton's traditional trunk with luggage, bags, pret-a-porter, and accessories in display. A new floor is also available solely to accomodate the Men's Collection, with a lounge and bar full of various items placed in a playful accent.

Also, to commemorate the store's re-opening, two bags from Men's Spring 2009 Collection will be released ahead of time; the Sports Bag and the Reporter, made from refined and flexible materials with a design that is simple, calm, and elegant.

US Vogue December 2008: Glitterati

It's really cool to see the Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 looks slowly seeping in the circulation. The Glitterati, an editorial from US Vogue's December 2008 issue features the one look from Spring '09. The editorial stars Raquel Zimmerman, and photographed by David Sims.

I really love this. It's a sort of tribal-renaissance combo, Louis Vuitton head-to-foot! "Bling is ancient history. Today's golden looks aren't about obnoxious ostentation - they're about warmth and shine."


Flash of Genius. Other times, a slash or dash of gold is all you need (especially if you're heading to, say, a potwork holiday party).
