Everyone who have followed this blog from the very beginning and to those who personally know me have known that I’m still awaiting for my “Vuitton Moment” as I don’t have any Vuittons as of yet. I have a Le Catalogue from Francis, a ribbon from Tita V, but that doesn’t really count, no?
Its really funny when you think about it. I blog about Louis Vuitton but I don’t even have one! LOL. But I really don’t care. I’m still 18 and a student (which translates to broke), and I have some other important priorities such as saving money for design school, so buying myself a Louis Vuitton is not that wise.
So this year when the Stephen Sprouse Tribute Collection was released, I’m really dying to have something from the collection. My friends freshmess and LVMode told me to get the Stephen Sprouse Book and I thought it was a really good idea. But then other matters occured and unfortunately, I can’t get the book. So I’ve sparked up the creative in me and took the matter in my own hands!
This is a photo that a friend took at Louis Vuitton’s current window display, I edited out the bags and kept the neon rose, glowing lazily. Yesterday, I went to Kodak Express and printed it out… abracadabra, I got a Stephen Sprouse memorabilia! But that’s not all, I’ve got another one!
If you guys could remember, when the Stephen Sprouse Tribute Collection was released, Louis Vuitton’s homepage was changed into a Rose painting, its really graphic and very Stephen Sprouse. So I ripped it from Vuitton’s site and went straight to Kodak Express, viola! Another memorabilia!
I just love them! But unfortunately, they don’t glow in the dark. Anyway, I’m planning on printing out a the Graffiti so my Sprouse collection would be complete! I can’t wait!
