TO INSTALL
Your computer must be running on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or later versions (i.e. 10.5 Leopard, 10.6 Snow Leopard) to use this widget.
If you’re using Safari, click the download button. When the widget download is complete, show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
If you’re using a browser other than Safari, click the download button. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget’s icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
FOR WINDOWS
Unfortunately, I do not know how to make a version for Windows Vista / 7. However, I’ll do some research and try my hardest to create a Windows version of the widget.

Hi Ian, yes I did. First, I joined ADC (Apple Developer Connection), then downloaded Xcode 3.2. In Xcode, there's an application called Dashcode wherein you could make dashboard widgets, and then that's it.. :)

Its really not that hard, just drag-and-drop and a little bit of coding/programming. The part that took most of my time was designing the widget. The top and the bottom parts were made from scratch, so its a bit exhausting. You should try to make one, its fun. :)

Yeah, I was really planning on making an iPhone app, but I need to pay for the iPhone SDK (Software Development Kit) and I don't have $99 to spare. LOL.. I'm currently applying for college and all my money goes there.. But hopefully, I'll release an iPhone version in the near future.. *fingers crossed*

I have a question, I have downloaded the widget and I click on it and the screen sort of shimmers like a rock was tossed into a still pool of water and all I can see is the little "X" in the circle to delete the widget from the dashboard. Is this the correct way for it to function? I have Mac OS X 4.11 version so I am ok there. Thanks and any help would be appreciated!
^ Yes, that's the animation for adding a new widget to the dashboard. Do you mean that you don't see the widget? Just the little x mark?
