I’m back! Its been quite some time since I’ve last written something. It’s because of the construction that’s happening here in the house. Our floor is being redone and finding a nice spot to sit ‘normally’ (without cutting circulation off my legs) is quite a challenge, but everything’s done now and I have settled back in my corner… back to work!
Louis Vuitton Monogram Stresa PM
Now onto the bag. You may remember this one from the photos I’ve posted months ago, from Vuitton’s Cruise 2010 presentation in New York. The bag was presented in Damier Azur canvas, but that version would be hitting the shelves months from now. You can, however, get the Stresa as early as now… in Monogram Canvas.
Named after a town on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Italy – a popular retreat for the elite – the Stresa has the town’s calmness and timelessness in terms of the design. It’s an elegant bag with an angular shape and offers a comfortable carrying experience even when full. Effortless chic I say.
The bag features a wide zipped opening for easy access, two interior patch pockets, an interior D-ring, bottom studs for protection and flat shoulder handles. It comes in two sizes PM (15.7″ x 8.6″ x 8.3″) and GM (17.3″ x 9.4″ x 8.6″) with both sizes large enough for carry A4 documents. They’re available at Louis Vuitton stores and online at louisvuitton.com for US$1360 and US$1520 for PM and GM respectively. More pics after the jump…
