Last May, Damier Graphite’s luggage line has been updated adding the Steamer Bag, Garment Cover, Steeve, Keepall 45, and Toilet Pouch to the line-up. Now, its the city bags’ turn. Joining the new line-up are the following pieces:
Damier Graphite Michael
The first and only backpack to the Damier Graphite Collection, Michael is lightweight and combines style and comfort. I find the shape interesting, its oblong-ish, really sleek in my opinion. It claims that it could carry a laptop but with its size (10.2″ x 17.7″ x 6.7″), I think netbooks are more likely to fit in. Michael is ideal for school, business or travel. It features two zipped pockets on the exterior, a foam padded computer pocket and a mobile phone pocket. Very functional I say. Available at Vuitton for $1530.
Damier Graphite Computer Sleeve
This slim and practical computer sleeve is stylish and functional which features a double zipper closure and a foam-lined computer compartment embossed with the Louis Vuitton inventeur logo. The sleeve comes in two sizes: a 13-incher and a 15-incher. I’m really fond of this case but what bugs me is that it could only accommodate the laptop leaving behind important accessories like the power brick. Anyway, its available at Vuitton for approx. US$650 and US$700 for 13″ and 15″ respectively.
Damier Graphite Camera Bag
Another great addition to the Damier Graphite family is the Camera Bag. Its strong and protective, the bag could carry small and medium sized cameras and features lots of useful compartments for accessories. It can be carried by hand or on the shoulder, either way, it would look fabulous. Camera bag measures 8.6″ x 15.3″ x 9.4″, available at Vuitton for approx. US$2250.
