First, it was Dolce & Gabbana. They live stream their shows (both Dolce & Gabbana, and D&G) in their website. Then Burberry, then Michael Kors. Now, Vuitton! Finally!
According to Louis Vuitton’s Official Fan Page at Facebook, “Louis Vuitton is proud to announce the live online broadcast of its Women’s Spring/Summer 2010 Ready to Wear collection on Facebook on October 7, 2009 at 2:30PM (Paris time) / 8:30AM EST.
Louis Vuitton is going one step further and confirming its digital intentions as the first luxury brand to offer a live broadcast of its Women’s Spring/Summer 2010 Ready to Wear show exclusively on Facebook.
On October 7, 2009 at 2:30pm (Paris time), current and future fans of the Louis Vuitton Facebook page will be able to watch the latest Marc Jacobs creations for Louis Vuitton streamed live from Paris Fashion Week. Viewers will also be given the opportunity to comment on the event live from their Facebook status.
Following the event, the video of the show will be available on demand exclusively on the fan page for 24 hours.”
I was originally planning on doing a live chat, like last season’s show, but now that Vuitton has live streaming, I could rest and watch the show in the comfort of my mini office. But I really hope I get invited to watch the show live next season. Please LV!
And while you’re becoming a fan of Louis Vuitton at Facebook, why not become a fan of ILVOELV too? You could get instant updates on ILVOELV’s new posts. :p
