Delightful GM
On June 2010, Louis Vuitton will launch a delightful new Monogram bag… the Monogram Delightful. This practical shoulder bag with an extra-supple hobo shape would definitely make a great casual-chic purse perfect for everyday use.
Like its sister, the Neverfull, Delightful has a similar unstructured body. Natural cowhide piping and edging highlights the rounded shape of the bag. And also like the Neverfull, Delightful features a striped lining inspired by the interior of vintage Louis Vuitton trunks. As for the handle, Louis Vuitton has constructed – from the purest tradition of savior-faire – a thick piece of gorgeous natural cowhide leather which is delicately embossed with the Louis Vuitton signature and is curved at both ends, without any wrinkles and secured into place by a feminine golden brass stud.
The Delightful offers generous space, even the PM can accommodate an A4. Inside, there’s a large zipped pocket to secure your belongings. Also, two zipped pockets can be found on the exterior of the GM, a unique feature which is only available in the said size.
Monogram Delightful comes in three sizes: PM (18.1″ X 10.2″ X 7.1″), MM (20.5″ X 11.8″ X 7.9″), and GM (22.8″ X 12.6″ X 8.3″). Its exclusively available at Louis Vuitton stores for US$760, US$855, and US$1100 for PM, MM, and GM respectively.

The PM was $770 including 4% tax in Hawaii.
Can't wait to get one! It does look this is a large bag, but the only drawback will be that it doesn't have a closure. I understand the prices are usually lower in the HI compared to the Mainland and LV will not ship anything from HI to the mainland either.

get the Artsy shoulder strap in rounded and uncomfortable. I like the Galleria but I ended up receiving the Delightful GM from Hawaii! Love it!
If your going to Hawaii get the Delightful. Get it earlier than everybody else and a tax break from California!

I just got back from Hawaii. I picked one up and I love it.
just saw this bag in tokyo.. it is lovely and quite a bit larger then the neverfull the pricepoint is OUTSTANDING the only drawback is the open top but if you dont mind that its the perfect bag
Don't get the Artsy…I have it and the shoulder strap, because it is rolled hurts….I already reserved the delightful in the GM in NY for June 1st cannot wait!!!!
Why Louis Vuitton Monogram is so Nice, i just get one from NY, i think cheapest place to buy these lv bags.
This one is nice, a bit more relaxed compared to Artsy. I found Artsy's strap uncomfortable as well, but after a few weeks it kind of moulded itself on my shoulder and is quite comfy even loaded. I am tempted by Delightful though :)
Just bought the Delightful GM today. Went in to get the Neverfull and walked out with the Delightful thanks to hubby. Love the bag! It's great for everyday use and I love how it falls in the front. The zippers definitely give it spunk and also love the hardware on the bag. Good mix of the galliera and neverfull. I LOVE THIS BAG! (can you tell?) =D
I got this bag today and I LOVE IT!!! Of the 8 LV bags I have (includes Neverfull GM in both Monogram and Damier Azur), this is def. my favorite!

I think it would depend on your height. I suggest you visit the store and try on the sizes and choose which suits you best.

Go for the MM!!! I'm also short and it looks great and you have more room and if you carry a lot of things it looks perfect. Anyone uses some kind of under base inside it?
My mom is only 1.5m tall and is medium built so after much deciding, she finally settled with the Delightful PM coz it fits nicely. Both the MM & GM were too big for her. Hope this helps… :)
I recently bought the Delightful GM but realized its big for me ( I'm 5'2. 115 Lbs). I've changed my mind and am selling it for $1000. No tax.

I have just ordered the Delighful Monogram PM off the LV website, i fell in love with it immediately, however after recently browsing the internet for pictures of said bag i noticed a few people have said it looks "fake". I am now perturbed and put off by this :( advice anyone?? It should be arriving this week in time for my birthday but now i feel my dreams of this bag have been crushed…
I walked into a local LV store to check on a bag for my sister and I spotted the Delightful Monogram MM. All I can say is AWESOME. I have had my eyes on the Galliera for some time, but the Galliera GM is just too huge. I am 5'7" (small framed) and I usually have heels on so figure 5'10" on a normal day. Still Galliera still too overpowering. Let me tell you the Delightful Monogram MM is absolutely perfect. The Delightful PM is the smallest of the collection with the GM the largest. The Delightful MM looks great, fits great. For those who are concerned over no real closure such as a zipper, once you place your items in the bag each side fold over like an envelope. I think it is the LV bargain for 2010. LOVE IT!!!
Just got the GM yesterday and I LOVE it. It's such a HUGE bag, which is perfect because I carry a lot of things. Plus I do love those oversize bags.
Is the PM nice as well? i love it but have not seen it in person…

I think it really depends on your style, the neverfull and speedy are both fairly preppy bags whereas the Delightful is much more laidback and edgy.
Personally i would go for the neverful or delightful because the speedy can sometimes be a little too popular and is quite an "obvious" or i your face bag. The neverful looks great whatever size however in my opinion the middle size neverfull is the perfect place to start for your birthday gift..

I just purchased the Delightful PM for $760 plus 8.875% tax in NYC today and its perfect! Its sits well on my shoulder and neatly fits all my everyday junk!

I just got this bag and its AMAZING!!! Big but not too big, comfy, fashionable and reasonable in price. Great buy!
Fell in love with Delightful the moment I saw it on the LV website. It lived out to my expectation when I saw it in the store.(My boyfriend took me to the store to choose my birthday present♥) The strap is very comfortable on the shoulder even with a lot of items in the purse. There is a D- ring inside when you can attach accesories like a key ring or a mini pochette :) For those people concerned about not having a zipper, it folds when carried and plus there is a hook closure. This purse is definitely recommended. It is way better than 1.Neverfull- looks more sophisticated and not as common (yet) 2.Artsy -ease of use, especially the strap and price is a lot more reasonable. $855 vs. $1400 for the MM size. I absolutely love this bag! I bought it when i was in Hawaii because the prices are cheaper there, and tax is only 4.7%! Its the perfect everyday bag, looks great on, and not many people have this yet because its quite new. Pictures don't do justice, you'll have to check it out in person yourself!
I just bought the PM delightful today… but I can't help but think I should go back for the MM. When I was at the store, I thought the MM was too large for my frame (I am 5'2 avg frame). It seemed overwhelming on me… the delightful MM looked almost as big as the Neverfull GM on me. For an extra $100.00 I feel I should get the bigger bag. any advice???

I bought the delightful 750.00 almost two weeks ago. Can's decide whether to take it back and get the neverfull or the medium delightful.. I am 5'2". The coach tote I was carrying that day was the same size as the small delightful I purchased. Any thoughts…suggestions…
I just bought my Delightful MM yesterday and was so pleased with the size, style, and price point. It is casual yet edgy. I'm 5'2 and thought the PM is too small and the GM is too big. For $95 more, get the MM. This is definitely a step-up from the traditional Neverfull.

i got my delightful gm and its pretty =) straps way more comfortable than neverfull and artsy. total look better than plain neverfull. zips and hardware a bonus. i am really going to use these everyday. it suits well with any fashion style whether it be laid back or a night out get up.
prolong its life by not exposing it to extreme heat and water!

I finally got the delightful gm. I am 4’11 and small framed and I feel I can pull off this bag. At first I thought it was too big, but b/c it folds in, it seems to hang just right on my body. This is my 9th LV and one of my favorites. Don’t give up if you r trying to find it. Keep calling stores and eventually one will pop in. I received mine from Neimen Marcus in Las Vegas.

my husband just ordered the gm online for me because of course its Christmas and bags are sold out everywhere. Im 5′ 1″ , and very nervous this bag is going to be enormous. unfortunately there are no images online with anyone carrying it, so can someone give me there opinion on the size of the bag, is it realistic??
Does the pm have the studs on the bottom that make it sit up when you set it down?

I tried the Delightful GM in store few days ago..I am impressed by the zippers design out there but after trying on me…I am a bit disappointed with the turnout of the shape when u are carrying u..the opening kept popping out..the salesgirl told me is like that due to the size of GM..I guess MM will have better turnout but MM without zippers do not impress at all..

Anyway, I walked out with an Artsy MM instead. Even though the handle may be a bit hard at first but I believe it will soften after a few weeks. It happens to my Saleya MM too.
After a few weeks of carrying the Delightful “GM”, the bag begins to relax and it lays properly. At 1st it was awkward looking, but it finally lays nicely….kinda like a fortune cookie.
I agreed with you. My brother bought me a Delightful PM and the shape was very odd. It was a bit too big for me cos i only put a purse, handphone and keys inside. So after 2 days of purchase, i took a flight all the way from Sarawak to Singapore to change my bag. I brought my receipt, top up another $310 to change with Totally MM which had better shape and a long zip.I am very happy and satisfy with my Totally MM now.

The people who comment on giving back are usually the ones who don’t give anything to the poor or less fortunate. I love it. I bought the Delightful MM because I saw it hanging in the store and LOVED IT! It’s a “bucket” style bag or a hobo. It is very classy and fits ALOT! I throw diapers, wipes, wallet, and more in there and it does get heavy, but at least it has the thicker strap and not the Neverfull’s tiny straps. It looks similar to the gucci hobo on.
