Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection celebrates the woman’s female form with exquisite details in mind. And speaking of details, one of the standout pieces in the runway were the Monogram Fleur de Jais bags, probably the most intricate line in the collection… and arguably the most beautiful.

During the course of Marc Jacobs’ tenure at Louis Vuitton, we have seen the Monogram canvas being recreated every season, and this season’s no exception. For Fall/Winter 2010 the iconic canvas is again reinterpreted, this time it’s flocked and sequined with an ornate floral pattern reflecting the richly worked spirit of the collection.

Manège

Add a blast of sparkle to any formal ensemble with the Monogram Fleur de Jais Manège. This elegant clutch is made from sequined Monogram canvas with floral details and grained black calfskin leather flap with leather-covered S-lock, and natural cowhide leather trimmings and wrist strap. Inside, there’s an interior flat pocket and the lining is signed with the Louis Vuitton Inventeur plate.

Manège measures 9.8″ x 5.5″ x 3.1″. Available at Louis Vuitton for US$2130.

Speedy

The iconic Speedy features a richly elaborate floral pattern in flock and sequins. The bag also features sumptuous black calfskin leather (on the zipper/opening area) which gives this classic bag a sophisticated twist. The rest of the trimmings + toron handles and clochet is made from vachetta. Inside, the bag has an interior pocket and the lining is signed with the Louis Vuitton Inventeur signature.

Monogram Fleur de Jais Speedy measures 11.8″ x 8.3″ x 7.5″ (Speedy 30) and is available at Louis Vuitton for US$2420.

Carrousel

With its vintage-style silhouette, the Carrousel in Monogram Fleur de Jais blends together elegant detailing and intricate embellishments. Carrousel’s body is made from the Monogram canvas with an exquisite floral pattern and dazzling sequin embroidery. Its flap is made from grained black calfskin leather, with a single top handle made from vachetta. The flap is secured to the body by a gold S-lock – a reference to Louis Vuitton trunks – which is partially covered in leather. Inside, the bag features an interior flat pocket and a lining signed with the Louis Vuitton Inventeur plate.
