Louis Vuitton and for-profit fashion company EDUN has collaborated for Louis Vuitton’s latest Core Values Ad Campaign starring Bono and Ali Hewson. As part of their partnership, Louis Vuitton is re-releasing the Monogram Revelation Keepall 45.
You may have seen this bag before as it was a runway piece from Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2009 Menswear collection. But this time, the Monogram Revelation comes in a rich brown color inspired by the natural beauty of Africa and gives the subtle elegance to this new icon. The Revelation Keepall also comes with the Masai bag charm hand-crafted in Kenya by Made, a fair-trade fashion accessory company which strives to provide employment and promote ethical trade in Africa. Both the charm and the inside of the Monogram Révélation bag bear a plaque with the inscription “Every journey began in Africa.” Proceeds from the sale of the Louis Vuitton x EDUN collaboration bag will go to TechnoServe in Africa for the Conservation Cotton Initiative and related programs.
Louis Vuitton x EDUN Monogram Revelation Keepall 45 measures 17.7″ x 10.6″ x 7.9″ and is available at Louis Vuitton stores for approx. US$5000. So if you missed the Black one a few seasons back, you now have another chance of getting the Revelation Keepall, and also be able to help a good cause.
