First Look: Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Women’s Ad Campaign

Here’s a preview of Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2011 Ad Campaign which features stunning young women, vintage cars, fetishistic fashions and cute little doggies.

The campaign was photographed by Steven Meisel, styled by Karl Templer, makeup by Pat McGrath, hair by Guido Palau, and stars and stars six up-and-coming young models: Zuzanna Bijoch, Daphne Groeneveld, Gertrud Hegelund, Nyasha Matonhodze, Anaïs Pouliot and Fei Fei Sun.

Supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell who walked the show would have given this campaign a boost of strength and sexy fetishist vibe as sadomasochistic dominatrixes but Vuitton seemed to have led the campaign’s direction to 1940’s bourgeois, rich girls traveling with their beloved pooches which is OK with me.

“Who wouldn’t want to be this gorgeous young woman in the back seat of this beautiful car?” asks Marc Jacobs, Vuitton’s artistic director, highlighting the tongue-in-cheek take on the French brand’s familiar travel theme.

The campaign is slated to break in magazine issues by August 2011. Watch out for the full ad campaign here in ILVOELV in the coming weeks.
