Cuir Indra
In addition to the Damier Infini, Louis Vuitton introduces another leather line called Indra, named after a Hindu deity which is usually depicted riding atop an elephant. Cuir Indra is made from calfskin that is embossed to achieve the exotic elephant leather effect. Huge and imposing trunk locks are used as the bag’s closure.

I LVOE the Damier Infini line…I’ll be picking up the PDV in Onyx. I was also considering the Portfolio but in the Nomade type leather…none of those were made?
Yes, Nomade bags from the runway will not be released.
Should we expect astronomical price points?? Or will they be “reasonable” (hoping!) Any specific release date?? Super excited :)
Thanks for the info. Is this all for the runway release? There were so many in the show. I liked the Nomade slingover and they are not releasing it, very sad.

Hi Linda, yeah! It’s my favorite too along with the Cuir Indra Clutch Historique.
There’s no final price and release date yet as of the moment, but they’re expected to be released on August along with the other Fall/Winter pieces. :)
I inquired with my SA at my LV ala moana in Hawaii, about the infini PDV ($2290) and the PDV-gm (I think $3000+, which is a surprising difference). It is a permanent line, but not all the colors. Didn’t have time to ask about the other pieces. Will try to get it out of my SA again! Haha, aren’t we all excited!
