Yesterday, Louis Vuitton gathered the Philippines’ local media including yours truly to preview the expanded Greenbelt 4 store before it opens to the public today, October 15th, 2011.
The event was scheduled to start at 3PM, with registration starting 2:30PM. Luckily, my Pattern Making class ended early and my 4PM Fashion Trend class was cancelled. My whole afternoon was entirely devoted to the event!

When I arrived, I was greeted by Jill from EON and Carissa from Louis Vuitton at the registration area. And as I entered, I immediately felt that sense of luxury that is uniquely LV. The store was larger, more spacious compared to how it was before the intensive expansion and renovation program.

Models lined up in front of the Women’s Leather Goods area wearing pieces from the upcoming Cruise 2012 and Pre-Spring 2012 collection. After I took their photos, one model said salamat which is really cute.

Vanessa Mayuga-Santos, Louis Vuitton Philippines Public Relations Manager, Jean-Baptiste Debains, President of Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific, Rhea De Vera-Aguirre, Louis Vuitton Philippines Country Manager, and Edouard Faure, General Manager for Micronesia and the Philippines welcomed the media to the event and kicked off the store tour.

Displayed on the coffee table in the sitting area is this amazing Caviar and Scotch Travel Case in Damier Graphite Canvas. And if you look closely, the bottle and glasses features a Monogram flower design.

Super cute hors d’oeuvres. Too bad I wasn’t able to have some. I was too busy taking pictures!

My goodie bag. Thanks Louis Vuitton!
Women’s Universe

Louis Vuitton transformed Greenbelt 4′s basement below the store into the Women’s Universe. This floor houses women’s leather goods, shoes and accessories, the Bag Bar, after-sales services area, and the luxurious VIP Salon.

This area features a special wall showcasing the brand’s Rare & Exceptional pieces. The store has been open to VIPs in the past three days and a number of exotic pieces have flown off the shelves. Only two pieces remain.

Private Salon

The highlight of the expanded store is the unique and luxurious VIP salon. It is a comfy room situated on the far end of the lower level that is dedicated to the ultimate and sophisticated private shopping experience. The first thing I noticed when I entered the room is that it smells really good.

Hanging on the wall of the salon is a lovely painting entitled “BLOSSOM 1” by acclaimed local artist Roberto Robles
