Outfit Inspiration for Easter Sunday Lunch

Although many seem to think that Easter Eggs are the be all and end all of Easter weekend, a healthier option would be to meet up with your family members and have a cracking meal at a restaurant. Whether it’s a carvery or a slap up meal is up to you, but Easter Sunday is perfect for spending quality time with your loved ones.

Take the opportunity to make an effort; dress to impress and use it as an excuse to look the part. After all, having the chance to meet up with your nearest and dearest is often slim to none, let alone for Easter celebrations.

The question is, what to wear? It all depends on how smart you want to be. Use these three fantastic looks from George at ASDA for some inspiration.

Smart and Formal

Choose a versatile suit for the occasion, comprising a pair of charcoal trousers with matching suit jacket. Priced at £50 for the two, it won’t break the bank and will provide with a smart suit that can used again and again.

Combine with one of the great range of mens belts and a smart shirt for the full package. If you want to make a statement, team with a funky, bright and bold Charlie Allen shirt or a dazzling striped tie with pinks and cyan.

Smart but Casual

If it’s a more casual affair, perhaps a pair of smart trousers and a nice shirt would be more suitable rather than going the whole hog with a jacket and tie. The bold stripe formal shirt for £6 with some textured formal trousers would be a perfect, timeless combination.

Casually Stylish

Depending on the restaurant that you choose to dine in, smart attire may look a little out of place. If you’ve decided on a family-friendly establishment, such as Harvester or Toby Carvery, a casual, stylish look won’t look out of place.

There’s no reason why you can’t scrub up nicely though, even if it’s just a casual afternoon with your family. The trendy Dcode denim shirt for £12 would be perfect with a pair of straight leg black jeans, while the South Dean Street textured top would be ideal teamed with a pair of dark denim jeans and cool trainers or canvas shoes.

Alternatively, look super cool and stylish in a graphic print tee that is in style this spring, such as the Think Big black Tee or the red England flag t shirt for the patriotic guys out there. Combine with a trusty pair of black casual trousers or some funky skinny jeans and you’ll be oozing confidence and looking fine.

Whatever style you plump for, treating yourself to some new gear doesn’t have to cost the Earth. Purchase a new outfit from George at ASDA and you could get a great bargain or two, giving you the ideal attire for a Sunday lunch with your family this bank holiday.

After all, what’s the point in a bank holiday if you don’t get to spent it with the people you love?
