Louis Vuitton continues its L’Invitation au Voyage ad campaign with a journey to Venice. Our aventurirère, Arizona Muse, travels to Venice via hot-air balloon in the second chapter of this intriguing saga. The story shifts from the first chapter’s journey through the air to traveling through time.
Astonished by music coming from a palazzo, she strides through the archways of the Piazza San Marco to find David Bowie playing “I’d Rather Be High” on a harpsichord. Suddenly, our heroine is surrounded by extravagant characters of a Venetian scene of the past, traveling through time.
Arizona closes her eyes as if it were all a dream. When she opens them, the music has stopped and she is alone. Arizona pulls a musical score from her black Vivienne bag; the only evidence of the incredible experience. She continues on her journey and boards a Chinese boat awaiting her arrival.
“The film is all about traveling through time, and sharing an incredible moment,” said Frederic Winckler, Louis Vuitton Communication and Events Director
The film was directed by Romain Gavras. Watch the making of the film below:
